Organic Chemistry Lab Starting Times and Information

LABS WILL BE STARTING THE FIRST WEEK OF SCHOOL

For CH 220C

· You must go to your assigned lab lecture before you attend your first wetlab.

· You first lab lecture will be:

o For Thursday 5:00 pm – 6:00 pm Lectures: 8-31-17

o For Monday 5:00 pm – 6:00 pm Lectures: 8-30-17*

* This is a special lecture due to the Labor Day holiday. It will be from 5:00 pm – 6:00 pm in GEA 105

· After you attend your first lab lecture, you will attend your first wet lab:

o For Tuesday labs 9-5-17

o For Wednesday labs 9-6-17

1. A Combination Lock

2. A Lab Notebook with carbon copy capability

3. Textbook for CH 220C and 128K

a. The Textbook: Experimental Organic Chemistry, 6th edition, by J. C. Gilbert and S. F. Martin, Saunders College Publishing, 2015 (Required) (ISBN 9781337699471).

4. Textbook for 128L

a. The Textbook we used in the Spring, 2017 semester.
